Lately for me it's been bluegrass - anything by Byron Berline, Doc Watson's "Docabilly" and Union Station -

Sorta gets me pumped driving out at night - had some friends in a BG band many moons ago and got them a gig on the Block (or the Island, if you're indigenous to that place) - a few never left. I mean, they're still above ground and all, they just never got back on the ferry. It happens.

Yup, that was more than 30 years ago BYWB - Before You Were Born, in some cases

Boy, that kind of arithmetic can be scary

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

"Unchained" ~~Johnny Cash.
5 Grammy's, some of his best songs and vocals, TP and the Heartbreakers are the studio musicians, Fleetwood and B#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&gham play on one cut, a NIN cover, and other "guest" performers.

"You Get What You Play For" ~~REO Speedwagon.
LIVE, back before they went all ballady and sappy and sheet. sum amazing guitar work by Gary Richrath, several tunes to re-amp the night. the only cut that's missing is "Roll with the Changes".

"Pure Schuur" ~~Dianne Schuur.
if you like female jazz, she is this blind chick that can wail with her vocals and plays the keys. classic songs with her new takes. very distinct voice and arrangements that fit her chops.

AND waaaaay toooooo many to mention here,,,,,,,,,,,,

"The first condition of happiness is that the connection
between man and nature shall not be broken."~~ Leo Tolstoy

Tight Lines, and
Happy Hunting to ALL!
