A contractor came into the ER the other day with a large nail in his ring and middle finger. Shot right through them both. Looked nasty but the Dr. just twisted it right out with some local nerve block for pain.

Slip - isn't it just great to be in your own business !! How are you doing now that the initial damage is done? I hope you didn't have a deadline on a island installation.

OUCH. Sorry to hear that Bruce. I know the feeling. About 25 years ago I had a 16d hit a knot on a shoe plate.....needless to say 2 fingers on my left hand were stuck to the plate. I pulled my hand free and taped em up after finishing the last 2 studs. (was racing for a 6 pack) I won because the other guy just stopped and stared.

On a serious note though; be careful and keep it very clean. In our type of work hands are very suseptible (sp?) to infection. If you need anything you have my #.

Hope ya heal up quickly.
