1-20-09...What an idea that was - universal resonance.
Bummer for them - to have such a good idea for a brand and have it come to end in 189 days. They probably are on the gravy train by now anyway.
Hmm...Obama's last day will be 01-20-13? I wonder if it's been trademarked yet? I could make a lot of money selling tee shirts, stickers and acessories to the right-wingers. He'll only be a one-term president because things are so bad nobody will be able to turn it around in four years.

Joe, not a bad idea, one would think your existing surfcasting client base would buy that merch too, although it doesn't seem so in this forum!

Most sportsmen are fiscal and social conservatives, but conservation minded. They tend to vote republican. It looks to me that there is a lot of opportunity selling stuff that is politically charged.
I'm a moderate - which means I don't really believe stongly in anything. The country is neither right nor left, but increasingly moderate.
If you notice with the recent deaths of Tony Snow and Tim Russert, the adversaries that they appeared to have were really closet friends. Keith Oberman and Tony Snow were email buddies, Russert and Mary Matlin were good friends, etc. The conservative v.s. liberal debate we see in the media is just another business to the people who are inside it and who participate in it.
