It's experiences like that with the family that you (and more-so the kids) will be talking about for years to come. Plus, with the fishing being so good, the kids are more apt to get the fever that you have Larry. I'll be doing the same on MV over the next two weeks with my kids and nephews (don't know if I'll have the bait and blues in front of me like you have though).
I wonder, do you cry a little (on the inside) every time a blue steals one of your customs like I do? Awesome times for you and family. The kid Kevin will thank you some day I bet. I remember being invited along on vacation with a friends family when I was young. I look fondly on those times.

Larry - awesome pics. that's what it's all about man - fishing bunker/pogies getting hammered by the blues. The blues get ultra reckless and it doesn't get any better than that for the kids.

One thing to consider ... if you find schools of bunker getting slammed by the blues, don't forget there are likely to be bass shadowing the activity picking up scraps. Try throwing a half a bunker (head half) out on the bottom behind the school, or a whole dead bunker and let it sit on the bottom.

We caught tons of good sized stripers that way ... target the bigger schools though.

have a great time, i think you are near where we used to go.
