My wife claims that she read somewhere that there's a pond on the Cape with freshwater Stripers. Anyone know anything about that? I doubt it's true, but as with everything else, she's probably right and I'm probably wrong.

Long pond got the OK to stock stripers but, the never did.
There are a few lakes in Indiana that have stripers and/or hybrid stripers. Monroe and Patoka come to mind. Ohio River also. Lake fishing this time of year is mostly trolling with either live bait or bucktails. The stripers typically start going deep in summer. Pretty much a catch and keep deal as they will not survive the warm water. Late summer to fall, he might run into some "jump" action (freshwater version of a blitz).
