$118.00 to fillup yesterday at Cumbys and it wasn't even 30 gallons
Most I ever paid to fill up. 3.68.9/gal. had to swipe the card twice as usual.
I'm glad I have shop work all summer long.

$4.48 here for reg....Diesel is 4.99 and that is at the street. Who knows what the dock price is... Talk is now $6.00/gal this summer. 5 will be a "bargain".
Domestic supply has to increase...when will they learn.
Price of crude went up 16% THIS WEEK! World wide demand certainly has not increased that much this week. There is a lot of speculation going on, guys that shorted at 100 and are not covering at 135. IMO it will fall back to 80-100 within 6 months BUT at the CURRENT futures price HOME HEATING OIL will be close to 5 bucks per gallon this fall....people are going to freeze their ass off this winter, you watch.

Agree 100%. Wrote to my Senators and Congressman. Only one answered my letter. "He's been to Anwar and it is too pristine to drill."
Ya well good for him, he's one of the few who could afford it, with the price of gas who else can afford to go.
I'm all for conservation, but we need help until altrenative energy fills the breech,
not so much to drive, but to keep the economy going and people warm.
Never have so few kept so many hostage.
That goes for the seal population too.

I took my son to the batting cage/miniature golf today - 1:00 pm on a this beautiful day - place not even half full.
Up the road from me, The 99 Restaurant went under.
Look out - we're going to see a freaking huge enema of business failings this summer.

I agree with Markey - he questioned why the oil futures prices are being "market driven" when there is no shortage of oil. I am still waiting to see what the energy policy that was written by Cheney contains. If it is favorable to the average citizen, why can't it be released????

Let me guess...he is a democrat.
Congressmen forget they are suppose to do what THE PEOPLE WANT...not what THEY WANT.
IMO drilling technology can be done pretty darn clean these days.

The value of the dollar is crap right now. if the dollar was worth what it once was, gas would be hovering around 3 a gallon.
I guarantee you that encouraging higher energy prices was the number one goal of the bush administration. To get to that goal, they did what ever it took... and that included exploiting current events if you get my drift..
