Arrow at least those are worth a nickle BF

to stop the newspapers from being thrown in the yard
install one of those plastic newspaper mailers under your mailbox
for them

since
...it's a federal crime for them to stuff them into your
federally regulated mailbox but not the plastic one...

then at least it won't look so bad like trash on your lawn.

you'll always need something for fish guts

Who's throwing them in your yard? If it's the newspaper company, call them and tell them to stop. If they don't, save all your papers and junk mail for a month or so and drop it at the front door of their building. Just remove your address label from everything.

About 3 years ago, I got sick of all the unsolicited junk mail I was receiving and I started mailing it back in the postage paid envelopes they provided with nasty notes.

I did that and got a call from some bank down on the cape that if I didn't stop doing it they'd have their lawyers come after me. Course I was loading them down to like 10oz each, musta cost them $20 to get the junk back

Some moron actually went through the stuff and found something I didn't tear out and reversed my telco number

If they got p.o.'d enough to call you and threaten legal action, you made your point to them, Scott. I like your idea of adding extra weight to the packages.
I wonder how much money is wasted and how much extra trash for the landfills are generated from all this unsolicited crapola we get every day.
