$12K range is where I thought they were. I was shocked when I saw list price for 2008 at over $20K. Anyone else have any later news on pricing for this engine?
Thanks for the info guys!

Fish On,
That must have been some MSRP price that you saw? Things never sell for that. I don't even know where they get MSRP's for it is always a rediculous number.

Damn that is cheap! I think I paid about 18K for a 225 yami (with install, and controls and prop) and that was a few years back.
I saw a price in a magizine review for the big verado that said 31K.
who is this guy Eds marine? Do you think somone out this way would match those prices?
Just for the hell of it, I am going to go down to my dealer here and see what they can do for me on a 350 yami and mention this ad.

Eds is a guy down in VA that sells boats & motors very cheap. somewhat the slimy used car sales approach, ie. get you in there with a good price and then nail you on accessories, etc. but the prices are very real, and I have read about many people using them as a gold standard bargaining chip with their local dealers for where the rock bottom pricing should be...
the prices on Ed's are for the bare motor. No prop, no controls, nothing but the bare motor.
