Did that for 32yrs. Almost everyone of those winters was spent outside in the snow, ice, and rain. It will take it's toll on your body, especially hands and knees. solution: change job; take winters off; marry into money; hit lottery; cry a lot!!
Well, got the rim joists hung this morning... 2x10 PT, 16 footers, all frozen to boot.... This afternoon we just got all the heavy sheets of 3/4 PT plywood to lift up to the third floor.... But we're working when many are not.
Definitely a mistake sitting down for a sandwich and sign in here.... I don't feel like moving now.
