Do you stay overnight?
Usually

Sleep in the Car/Motel/Hotel?
Truck or Motel. I try to stay in a motel whenever possible. I think Fran D. once wrote that as long as you're sitting upright, cops tend to leave you along, and I've found that to be correct.

How far do you go?
From NJ to MA

How long do you stay?
Day trips to Jersey, weekend to multi-day trips to RI/MA

How much do you spend doing this?
Not that much. I stay in the cheapest motels I can find or use hotel points saved up from work. Other than that it's gas and coffee. I pack my own food most of the time - that saves a lot of money and you eat better. Of course, when you're half frozen in you go get a hot meal.

Boat/Surf?
Surf/Kayak

Yes..Living hours from the ocean....usually camp 2 nights through a week...cost...not too bad unless you include the camper itself!!! and the gas to tow it...But then its part vacation part fishing trip so I wont complain
