Very true, probably legit and a great deal. But this is the way I originally saw it...

Go to Redtop and buy it new for $729, throw in tax of about $36then put about $45 worth of braid on it in now you are into it for about $810. Walk it to the beach cast it a few times and put it on the market for $475??

I guess I am just getting too synical as I get older.

heres the thing... there are looooots of people with more money than they know what to do with. soooooo one summer this guy says... "hey, i think i'll be a surfcaster" goes out blows his money on ridiculously pricey top end gear... fishes twice doesnt catch crap. decides he doesnt like it... and pawns it away just to get rid of it..
