Did someone say VW?

yes i own a 1971 VW Westfalia and am in the middle of restoring it back to almost new.. They are awesome fishing machines for one reason- they are so simple to work on. There is no 4wd, but i used to drive my old bus on the sand down here in RI from time to time... There can be lots of storage if you buy the right model.. a late 70's westfalia has more storage than an early one.

Was looking for a vehicle with storage and good gas milage. I believe the eurovan has that but they are more of a mini-van. I was thinking of buying one and stripping out all of the fluff that is not needed.

There is a westfalia version of the eurovan as well

eurovans are garbage. it will cost you thousands to repair over the years.. everything on newer VW's falls apart so quickly.

If your looking for something a bit more modern than a baywindow bus, i suggest a syncro vanagon. If you get one post lots of Pics to drive ZacS crazy

a VW bus or van is going to get around 20 to 25 mpg
