so a friend of mine just won 250K @ mega millions

couldn't have happened to a nicer girl. 22 yr old single mom who works with me just hit the mega millions for 250k, came in today with a copy of the check for 175k after taxes sick christmas gift!

The first thing she should do is talk to a good financial planner. Invested wisely, that $175 K can provide for her kid's college and her retirement.

Congrats t your friend, that is very cool.

Invested wisely that will become lots of coin.

But as I age, I now think she should party like a rock star, you're only 22 once, enjoy it while you're at your best.

oops didn't read the single mom part. Invest that $$ for the kids future. damn, single and 175k to play with would be a blast.

but...you said college for her 2 kids AND retirement. 175 invested wisely might cover college, but little left over for retirement
