				Frozen lakes?

It's getting cold and I need to fish. Does anybody have any ice thickness reports? |

				 | Head north or west for best bets.Last Saturday I fished up in Westford over 4-5 of solid ice.
Some of that may have melted of the past few days, but with nights in the 20's and some cold days ahead, it should be setting up again.

				 | I'll be checking out the Gardner, Ma. area next week. They usually have the good ice before I do closer to home. This snow fall is going to insulate the ice and make it dangerous. I like to see what I'm walking on early in the season. |

				 | Most ponds are frozen but some still have open areas. One of the local trout ponds is still open pretty good. |
