The polypropylene might work, I think I can melt and bend that stuff too. Worth a shot for $3.50 fishsmith it's not just the cutting it has to be bent too. I heat a aluminum bar with a blowtorch and form the piece over the bar. Not sure I could do that with anything heavier than this stuff.
