Generally the reel seat is matched to the blank then a reel is chosen to match the rod. To go the other way , you just need to be sure the reel seat is big enough for the reel and then figure out how to use bushing under it to keep it centered and supported while you epoxy it to the blank.

VS200 will be a good match up for a 10 ft. i put a VS150 on my 9ft
