Thank you The Dad, and Keeper.

Not sure what went wrong before and your help is most appreciated.
The first one was landed in early Sept and went 37". The discoloring is due to the fact that that fish was out of the water for prolly three hours.....................

The second fish was caught in early July and was my first keeper of the year. The yellow tape is at 32". Not my "best" by far, but some indicators of the "average" sized fish that seem to prefer my little slice of the Striper Coast .

Next year my pix should be easier to take and post since the bride wants a digital to be our joint present to each other. We've been eyeing the Olympus Stylus 790?? Seems to have all the right features.............

Thanks again, gents for your IT help.

Did ya read the part that said keepers, Bob???

Also, it wasn't until i read about the mercury and PCB levels inherent to the Hudson Stock that I decided to become mostly C&R except for two a year, one for me and one for my sister ~who lives in Jamestown. I made that decision in October, or thereabouts. Please see the Mercury Rising Thread I started <<<<<<ova there.

That being said, I've always kept my C&R window between 32" and 42". Next year I'm prolly gonna go with 36" to 40". Everything else is going back to live and fight again, and hopefully become a BIGGER gurl for my grandkids .

The only exceptions that I may make next year is one or two fortays and a fiddy for the Striper Cup, since after all there is a Toyota Tundra up for grabs !!!!!

Besides we can't let jimmySly have all the glory can we, Bobby ??
Nice SLOB, Jimmy!!!!

Tough call, though, because I truly believe that the more 50's we keep the less 60's, 70's, 80's there'll be down the road......................

Is it the voice of reason that upsets you so, Bobby?

Or the fact that someone else besides YOU, might actually have a salient point or three to make? Why so much hate from such a young man? That stuff will eat ya up from the inside out, bro.

Choose to bless rather than curse, love rather than hate, encourage rather than discourage. It will add years to your life, and life to your years .

It's really starting to look like another forums regional page here...
Why don't you all do this back and forth in a private messages so we don't have to be subjected to it...
