Thoughts on another Plugfest

Our intension in having it at Carver Sportsmens Club is to have a Buy ,Sell ,Trade ,flea market type thing downstairs and the regular plugfest upstairs.

We talked about this last year and you guys said that you would like to see something like this happen. So Slip and I talked and made it happen. We have a full kitchen, better bathrooms, hardwood floors for clean up , more parking bigger building. I also got the building a lot cheaper so we can give more money to S-B to support the site.

By buy sell trade mike you mean folks can bring things to sell lures, old tackle etc?

We have not worked out any specifics yet but that is what we plan.

I don't know.....I see this as a distraction more than a benefit. Plugfest should be about plugs, making them admiring the workmanship and learning both how to and the history thereof.

Keep it a plug based event, a flea market swap could make plugfest end up being a circus instead.

That is where having 2 floors will help keep things seperated.

You will be drawing alot of folks who do not build plugs just looking to buy......it could get out of hand! Just my .02 cents....carry on! I will be there either way!

I understand the seperate floors but still don't like the idea. Too many things and people to keep track of. It's like, "do I display up stairs or get a table downstairs to sell a few surplus plugs %$%$%$%$?

Keep it Plugfest only please, it's a great event by itself and it gets bigger and better each year on it's own merits.

Not a problem we can keep it just plug fest. Was just going by waht a few guys talked about earlier. we can do the flea market thing another time.
