I haven't used etex with the prismatic (only because I don't have it yet) but have done it on jigs with the aluminum foil ducktape used for heating ducts and there were no issues. Probably the biggest potential issue with the thin prismatic films is how they are adhered and possible separation from the lure body. Then again I'm not selling them so I'm not that concerned with durability. I will try the self adhering tape but really want a thin film that will shape to bodies like the polaris style popper. If I can do that I have some 5" Danny bodies that I need to finish/refinish as well.

not exactly what your looking for thin reflective film. But in the past I have user something fly tyers use. Silli Skin it comes in alll sorts of reflective colors etc, and has an adhesive backing. It runs about 5 dollars a piece of film though.

Thinking about it, they actually make a film. Fly guys use it to make crease flies, with a foam body. They spray a 3m adhesive to the foam body, and can then tranfer the reflective stuff from the film to the foam lure body, this seems more along the lines of what you are looking for. Try giving Pete a call at saltwater edge and tell him you need the reflective transfer film that is used to make crease flies. Sorry the product name escapes me at the moment.

Domination takes full concentration..
