I was worried about leaving the 'fall run' for a trip to the Great Lake tributaries, but I think I made the right move...
A nice male brown from a Lake Ontario trib: fooled with a pink egg pattern on a 6 wgt.

I'd say so. I want a 5lb + Brown on the fly. Goal for next year is to travel with the fly rod. |
