Just as stated above. I painted a pearl white first a little heavy and then shot the top color over that all while it was turning so it did not run. I then just keept shooting air till I got the efect I liked. If the paint did not move around the way I wanted it to I just shot more on the lure and then more air.
Thanks for the compliment guys!!!
When I first started doing this 2 years ago the painting part was what scared me the most. I am a commercial electrician by trade not a painter and had no clue on painting. It is all the lure builders on this site and the other that helped me learn how to paint. I thank all the guys that like to share and help out guys like me that are learning and are the future of the craft.
Hey when you guys with the paint guns want to stop screwing around with this fishy stuff I've got a '74 911 Porsche that needs a paint job, any volunteers?
