the entrance to paradise (i'm rested, korkers sharpened, i have anguilla, i'm ready to hike 10 miles over bowling balls) ...

...or to purgatory (gosh, i haven't slept in six days, i'm 100 lbs overweight, constipated, and it's 30 degrees out).
