Work system.
ISA slot gave power, BUT the card is wired to get power via a harness.
we havent actually bought the computer... basically I wanted to take a look at one to make sure it will fit.

Which brings up my next (previous) question - how are you going to interface information from the card? RS-232 (no longer on most systems, need separate card)?

It doesn't need an interface, it's just flashes some LED's and beeps now and then to make Work think Bryan's using his funding

It connects/interfaces with a PC card controlled by software.

I would say that it should fit inside one of the drive bays, but that's just a guess as Dell put together a funky design there and Dell is known for changing designs around... All in all, the card should fit - just check the dimensions -v- am internal DVD or CD player
