Skitter you crack me up. How about these? I was told the eel skins are Floyd Romans and the 5oz pencil was made by Jig Ray lures. The story is when John Gibbs found out that Jig Ray was making copies he threatend to sue and that was that

Bunny was more connected to Capn' Bill's lures than Floyd Roman. Bunny and Chester "Biff" McArdle ( any of you "canal Legends" remember Biff's Bait and Tackle? Didn't think so...) used to build the plugs (actually just assemble them, they were turned, painted and coated in NH) after Red Top acquired Capn Bills from the Schearer Brothers.
At one time there was a giant replica Capn Bills # 23 Swimmer mounted over the top of the building at Red Top. It rotted away was sent to the dump eventually.

You know what they say when you "ass-u-me". Naturally I remember Biff's shop. It's Choc-o-latte now.
Biff used to be the only guy my old man could get parts for his Quick from.
