This year, like most others, it's up early for some yardwork (weather permitting) and a search for those dreaded holiday specials before the noontime feast. After a delicious repast we have a free-for-all battle for "crash-chairs" (You know-what chair will you fall asleep in during the afternoon foorball game.)
I can only state that as my family changes through losses and additions, I believe the most important tradition would be "giving thanks" for all we have. It may sound a little corny but I've found that I have SO MUCH to be thankful for: Great family, great friends, good health, good job and a sense of humor to keep them all together.
As I've stated to my friends and family:"I may have to grow older, but I don't have to BE old!"

I would like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday, and to those that will be venturing out on the water, take care and stay safe.
