Do not miss the point of that article. MBBA (with assistance from UMS and RFA) has been and continues to work behind the scenes and has made significant progress which could possibly help in the future with regard to Nauset, Sandy Neck, and others. NPS is a different ball game but there are moves to be made there also. Do not give up hope yet, those that are charged with representing our interests are doing just that. Once again do not miss that key statement in this article.

Also, with all due repect to some that made "I give up" comments on another thread on this issue, the public meetings are not where the real work gets done, they never are. Go to the MBBA web site and read the past few newsletters. Note the reports on positive meetings with MA Audobon, USFW, MA Office of Natural Heritage, etc. A bit early to give up. Watch for upcoming news.

BP, although i do not get an oversand sticker anymore, the work you guys do is much appreciated. my parents still get them. and i do get to go down to chapin beach occationally (which is currently closed). i would hate to see the ability to do this not be availible to the next generation of our familys.
