I have a 8' daiwa sealine X w/ shimano baitrunner 3500......I have used it for everything......even a 20# w/14 pound test!!! I can cast better with this than the 10 footers.........I think its a great set up for the $$$ and has been my favorite so far.......and like I said I have used it for everything...I am not one who canm be bothered lugger a million rods with me... (unless I am in the sand sled)
