I got sick of the gas BS and got a Prius. Living on a fixed income, the hybrid helps me take trip that I would normally not be able to . So screw the gas cos. and get a hybrid. FishHawk
Yeah, well, maybe if you are in need of a new vehicle, but, it doesn't make much sense to trade in a paid for vehicle only lay out $20K + for a hybrid to save a few bucks at the pump, but last summer people went into a panic and did just that....

Once again, seasonal industry activity combined with speculative investing, mixed with geopolitical tension has created an environment for higher fuel costs.
Overall, the direction for fuel prices this summer and later will be determined by whether consumer and investor demand for energy stays high, or is scared away by the political and economic events of the future
