Try some lights that you can sort of sheild with a sheet or some kind of diffuser, use white background, get the camera focused in close, You tend not to frame your plugs in the shot well, they look too far away, zoom in or get closer. Use alot of light but not direct light. Have you read the threads Afterhours had about this subject recently?

My brother is a photographer, but he knows as much about cabinetry as I do about photography unfortunately
good luck

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Here's the light box I use. http://www.diyphotography.net/homest...ple-light-tent

If you use a shop light or other tungsten light it might come out a bit yellow, but you should be ablke to adjust that in the software that came with your camera. If your camera will let you, set the white balance to tungsten or incandescent.

Thumbs up

Ya, nice shots HP and Larry.

I'm going to have to update, at some time, to a camera with a telephoto lense as i can't get closer than 3 ft.
