Good point.
But assuming you run often in high-growth rate areas like GBay
Ablative usually needs a repaint. Especially if you power washed at the end of the year.

Saw the PM Bryan, thanks....I did use alblative last season..first I washed the boat then lightly ssnded the bottom and then washed the whole thing with an alcohol...then I put two coats of paint..seemed to work well as I had no problems and the boat came out as clean as it went in..I know the stuff I used was supposed to "wash %$%$%$%$ as the season progressed...anyway, it doesnt take long to hit the bottom again this spring so I will do it anyway
