Ringo is living proof of two old adages:
1) It's better to be lucky than good
2) There's no substitute for being in the right place at the right time.
But, he was more fab with the girls than Pete Best

MikeP...mostly because Ringo had the Fame and the Bucks! He was not the best looking gent on the ugly ferry...that is for sure!
Worst drummer is Radar from MASH!

Apparently, Ringo had quite the following before he joined the Beatles.
The story goes that just before the Beatles hit it big, John and Paul decided that Ringo would bring more heartstruck chicks into the audience than their oiriginal drummer, Pete Best. So they fired Best and took on Ringo.
If you ever saw a picture of Pete Best and compared him to Ringo, you'd have to wonder whether John and Paul were dropping acid even back then

Matt should take a few lessons from Vinny.
Geez I hope Vinny plays again.I hate to say it but if Phil can get his crap together and Rex comes along the boys NEED to make up.It we be hard to find someone worthy of DB.

i hope it doesnt happen, it wouldnt be right. i do hope vinny jams again though, but after what he had to go through, im sure it will be tough.
