My wife really went overboard on me. In descending order of value:
Finnor Ahab 16 reel
1500 yard spool of 40# Stren Superbraid
R.A. Ribb custom clam "mini-bullrake", with 6' telescoping handle
Rapala fillet knife with serrated blade
The deluxe Berkley line stripper (the D cell sized one)
Rubber apron for cleaning fish
My stepdaughter got me a 750 ml bottle of single malt  |

I know. I'm wondering how it'll work on the Ahab. This is a new one with a bigger line roller. Size wise 40# should be great. I tried 50# Stren this spring and it was like rope compared to Whiplash. Great handling, but thick. |
