Didn't he play in that movie filmed in Boston where they ripped off a ton of cash. 60's I think based on a true story. Damn I can't think of it.

He wasn't Lennon's best man, he met Lennon and Yoko through his photographer/journalist wife who worked for the Rolling Stone magazine. Lennon was his best man, not the other way around.

He was hilarious and especially as Ray Barrones father.

Why even try.........

Yup. They did a scene at Tony's Pizza in Columbian Square. I lived right down the street.

The Friends of Eddie Coyle was about a bunch of low life mobsters. Coyle was supplying guns to a gang that was robbing banks and was suspected by the Mob of ratting them out, which resulted in his getting a .22 caliber lobotomy coming home from a "Broons" game.

Or at least that was the thrust of the book that the movie was based on.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

Close,
It's on Prince st. in the north end.
I remember as a kid my grandfather telling me the story of how he kind of knew Tony Pino, and in fact, had the truck they used in the heist at his repair shop for some work and to make sure it was running good, a week before the robbery.
My uncle and father who both worked at the shop confimed the story to me!
