17lb and 12lb last night. I'm still at it but not on an everynight basis.

No boat, back in the suds.

Fished hard and long 7 straight nights on Block a week back - finished my season with a good taste. Released my eels, now spending time with the family. I still get pangs to get out but i guess I'm old enough to ignore them.

Well... any week spent on- Block in Nov. is a great week! But doing so with DZ is like living history! (& Tattoo Bob is a fishing machine too!). And no "Snowstorm" to worry about, even-- was Sept.- like weather! (OK, admittedly no "Blitz" either this trip!) --(quite contrary to a certain report I read on another site!)... Dennis, thank you again for the opportunity! If ever you & Al need a guide at M.?...

Guess I qualify as hard- core though, as I'm still going strong on L.I. Looking forward to re- uniting with our Block Bass at M. this week, actually! (Esp. the biggies that rose to/ rushed my Needles in rough daytime water, without ever connecting! )

Steve,
Nice to have met two hardcore casters like you and Bob. I think you spent more time casting then back at the condo. You definitly payed your dues. So did Bob. We had our moments on that trip. There were some nice fish going after those Beachmaster needles. The eels proved the biggies were around. A little less surf and the needles would have produced where you were. Hope to fish with you guys again someday. Hope you liked the reading material. Stay in touch.
