almost done, ready for fine sandpaper, and marking of the eye/hook holes etc...
runs about 3 minutes start to finish....

pretty neat Karl
clipping the corners is very time consuming to me, I just go at it with the lathe and it cuts off fairly quickly.

I can do 7' ers very fast all 4 sides in less than a minute and then put away till I need to use them. Do everything I have all at the same time. To set it up and do a few here and a few there is too much of a pain, all at once saves me lots of turning time. The table saw is way to messy and dusty. P. |

I know it goes quickly when ya do long lengths Paul, I used to do it on my table saw and I just don't bother anymore unless I turn maple or birch.
