They're overkill for about 6 months after a year they're stoneage. Well they are everytime I buy one.

Wife runs 2 side buisness's needs to run 2 different company programs, Internet stuff. Music- rip and burning, photos, paint shop pro, some photo and music storage. That is about it. P.

So you need a couple boring programs, probably quickbooks or ACT or something of that nature, and just the usual internet/playing with photos?
I'd say that Dell you picked out was perfect.
Throw in a 200-300gig external drive and you're good to go!
