I think Kerry said what he said and he misspoke. If he had corrected that or made an attempt to apologize right after it happened, no big deal. Waiting 2 days and then being bullied into the apology is what pissed me off.
I think the reason you have so many vets running for office is that we are fed up with professional politicians of every party. These guys don't know a damned thing about the world or the mudholes and deserts that they send people into. They are probably tired of the elitist idiots on both sides making life or death decisions based on how they are going to look for the next election. Neither party has an answer to Iraq or the Global War on Terrorism so don't take sides based on those crappy catch phrases. Get rid of the career politicians, don't vote party lines and if your elected officials don't uphold their election promises, vote them out!!!!
These opinions are mine, I am fully responsible for them and don't care if you don't like them. I am just as entitled to an opinion as anyone else. 
By the way, if you made it law that the President had to serve in the military before becoming "Commander in Chief" how many people would we be able to nominte in 2 years? |
