I think they are bigger than the normal bat houses, these were being installed by a government agency and looked to be 12 to 18 inches wide to about 2 to 3 feet long it looked to be 1 to 2 inch opening with the whole bottom open. it was on channel 5 this morning news.

You should see how much these things crap every day it's unreal. I can sweep the guano off the floor and 10 min later it's back again. It's like raining bat crap

I got one stuck in the tip top of my rod while fishin off my dock a few years ago. It got tangled up in the line and i reeled its wing into the top, thought i had a fish but it was fighitin weird. Turned on the light and freaked out. Cut the line and it flew away. Then i proceeded to walk right off my dock, felt like a real champ after that one.
