The bass stands are very good spots when the fish are there and they are biting .

By George I've got him!

check these out... old prints of bass stands along the Elizabeth Islands.
If you haven't already been, make the pilgrimage to the Cuttyhunk Fishing Club; it's walls are plastered with old photos. It's the Cooperstown of striped bass fishing.
