Wink Japanese reels parts

Hello

Looks like a Saltiga to me !

I think most people got it right : add a washer, the spool will go up, the line will lay at the bottom of the spool; remove a washer, the spool will go down, the line will lay at the top of the spool.
You've got to find the right balance !

Here is a link on a Japanese Website, in its english version, with interesting links (bottom left) on Daïwa and Shimano reels parts.

http://www.plat.co.jp/english/english_top.htm

Hope this helps !

Olivier

Does it matter?

Where the line stacks up on the spool? Is there an advantage one way versus the other?

They were probably "rent-a-reps" and not Daiwa people.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.
