bio diesel?

I'm no expert on this subject, but bio-diesel is different from cooking oil and, at the price you're quoting, I'm guessing you are talking about cooking oil not bio-diesel. Diesels can run on cooking oil, but they need to be started with regular diesel and then swicthed over and then switched back, before they are shut down. But, to answer the question, I have never (knowingly) run bio-diesel in my boat.

I wonder if the fish would be attracted by the french fry exhaust? From what I've read, biodiesel is a superior fuel to regular diesel in a newer motor, with the exception of cold weather gelling.

Yeah, its a popular trend now with autos and I saw a piece on TV that was saying not only is it cleaner for the environment, but the truck being tested put out more torque.

MM the $.70 per gallon is to make a biodiesel blend of 90/10. I wonder if the hassel of making and transporting to the boat would be worthwhile.

I have heard all about it, but I don't personally know of anyone running it on the road, let alone in the water....
