Talking fishing season

is hurtling towards us like an asteroid....

it's out of control... it's a gonna slam us....

i can hear that splashing water now....

and don't forget bigfish that the mayan's predicted
the end of the world at 2012 ...so there's only six
years of fishing left.... makem the best years of your life.

I've been taking lessons from the Clammer....the gear is always ready..

today i started an inventory of my gear
and began writing a shopping list of things i want to have by April15th.

so far ive
been tieing rigs
fixing reels
finishing swap plugs
and making some killer Itunes playlists for fishing

50 days abouts till im truely happy again, almost there.

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.

done making plugs I think..
start tying a few leaders a night while watching the tube... tied 1 doz each plug, fluke and eel leaders last night...
New line on the reels in mid april
Reorganized my plugs last weekend, replaced hooks where needed...
thats about it..... I'll be ready to go for the second week of may...

i will be done this weekend , just a few more leaders to tie , i try to be done early so when the weather breaks i can get the boat ready , time is getting short

line go's on my canal reel about may 22, mid april for schoolie stuff. besides that im ready to kick ass

todays schoolie is tomorrows keeper,todays keeper is tomorrows cow,practice catch and release!!!.

waiting on a March snowstorm to dig into the plug bags and start changing hooks etc. It always seems to be a good relief getting ready in a snowstorm.

BF don't forget to change the differential fluids, I was amazed in the different ride. Tried the sand out last week -- got da feva!!!
