twin small blocks gunna suck up 130 gallon tank pretty quick. plus "new to you boat".
gotta play with it for a while before a journey like that.
either way your out some $
hello? sea-towoke:
Mike,
Guys run new to you boats back and forth to FL all the time. If you haven't had it checked out mechanically already, you're a fool for buying it.
I will be bringing a 28' Fortier home to Matt. in the spring from Ct. we will be running up the coast in the water not on the ground. As mako siad if you bought the boat it should have been checked out and in good running order. That is if you did not buy a project boat. We will be coming up in April if you wish to tag along you are welcome.
What Mike said;
My father picked up his last boat in NJ; ran back to Newport in 8hrs at 20kts...
this was post survey and full inspection.. should be done anyways
Besides what Cap'n Ron said ' if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen out there boss...."
if it's a project boat then yeah hire a hauler...
Bryan
