TXS. guy's....took some time off an went back to doing something I had done 30 years ago,,sittin with my x-acto knife drawing blood. found all my artist oil's all dried up and brushes hard as rock, but not to be cornered I went to the store[many] to find some new supplies.armed with new paints,brushes,sharp blades and new bi-focals, these came to be...,,,got tuna?

BOAT fish do count.

How many bandaids did you need??
Fine looking carvings. I think you and Mac should display them at the plugfest coming up soon.

CapeSam (and MAC) that is really neat stuff. I've been contemplating trying the same for years, though the painting part scares me. You guys may have just shamed me into it. I have a book of fish patterns (including a tuna if you're interested CS). I'll try to remember to bring it to the plugfest.

I would be real interested in seeing that book. Then I'll know what to look for. It is hard to find decent pictures to go by. I did mine from a copy of a print. A pattern book sounds really cool.

Blood wood make a great sealer the way it soak's into basswood if only it were a tad more waterproof.......the artist oil's take forever to dry even putting japan drier it...so these may not see the front seat of the truck by the time that roll's around...only time will tell.

BOAT fish do count.
