To further explain what jigman is saying... if you paint and clear right away without wireing, then you can get away without cleaning them, as your hands dont have to touch the paint.. But, if you paint, then wire, then clearcoat, you have to remove the oils left by your hands.
if you use createx, I have found that its best to hit them with a light coating of clear enamel right away before you wire, then afer wire use isopropal rubbing alcohol.

I buy the "T"shirt rag material at homies. I wipe the plugs especialy the eyes to be sure all skin oils are remover. That's it!

I wear one plastic glove on one hand,, like Mike,, handling plugs now..Bags of 50,, home cheapo,,no more turkey gravy or burger grease dripping from plugs prior to epoxy..
