eelman Registered User Join Date: Apr 2000 Posts: 3,036	I have an older St.Croix ben doerr surf system 8 foot rod I will toss in for free.Rod is old but its in fine shape and matches this reel perfectly, This would be a light to medium setup with this rod...The rod has tons of karma ! It was a two piece that I epoxyed together so, now its a one . Action is fine and you cant tell the difference............
