Ron not for nothing but you have to admit, the Pats have been fairly competitive for having the toughest schedule in the league, and the patchwork of players they have due to injuries. I understand that you bleed black and silver, but it would'nt hurt to give these guys some credit.

Sorry Specialist I have Raiders Ronnie's back on this one how about a 4-12 team(The Raiders) opening up the season on a Thursday night against the Pats(Super Bowl Champs)then having to play the Chiefs,Eagles,Chargers, bills,
plus we have the conspiracy theory by the NFL against the Raiders(Al Davis) they get all the lame calls, three of which this year cost the Raiders games, and all the NFL said was oop's sorry we made some bad calls....this is an on going story out here in the bay area, Tim Brown has talked about it and when Jerry Rice came to the Raiders he said wow it's true we do get all the lame calls......sorry I know I'm new here and I'm starting to snivel and whine like a 49er fan.

Not for nothing but Oakland was our only "Gimme" game out of the 1st 6.
4 ot of the next 5 were on the road at Pittsburgh, Carolina, Atlanta, and Denver. With San Diego mixed in at Foxboro for Good Measures.
as a matter of fact the combined records of the teams that the Pats Played the 1st 8 games of the season right now is 67-21 wher the same record for the teams that the Raiders played the 1st 8 games was only 46-42 ( I had to count the Chiefs twice since they played them twice).
