Love em, use them a ton. Not only have my fish doubled in size, so has my access. I use them for both fresh and salt.

I got one last December. Best investment in years. Caught me a bunch of fish this year with that thing.

When we were on Block Island Last June I rented one and fished in the salt pond. I had a blast getting towed around and fishing. It is worth checking out before you say you would never try it.

Possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen take place in a kayak was a bonito getting loose in a sit on top, thrashing around for a few seconds, and then biting the guy in the yak in the toe. The offending tasty fish was then thrown from the yak. He must have seen the other bonito scattered about the boat being kept for supper and decided to put up a serious fight.
So yeah, lip grippers, bogas, clubs, Baker Hookouts, etc, are all important tools when fishing from a kayak.

at 6'3", 250 lbs, how much will it cost me to get one? Don't need specifics, just ballpark.
