Craig the spring inshore guys do well with softbaits; too many bait thiefs in the deeper water...
Old timers say in the spring their mouths are soft from not eating all winter...

They do love softbaits if you can keep the choggies and doggies off of them....

yeah baby

Caught a couple of big fat ones friday, man they can fight!

Be quick or else. One buried down in the rocks, had to wait him out a bit to finally get him up!
