well, it was thought up by nelson V.. he along with some others decided that 'the other club' was too permiated with commercial Bass and fluke fishermen and offered very little to the surfcaster. After all, 'the club' used to be a heavy contender in the day... many a good surfcaster was in that club. So Nelson got together a bunch of us locals and said lets start something new so we did. So far it seems pretty good. I'll PM you when i know more about the next meeting if you would like to join.
